"Strange Bedfellows"

Angelo makes an unsettling discovery and is concerned that Cookie's past isn't in the past and will hurt his chances of becoming the Mayor. Anika is faced with a life-changing decision after Tariq reveals what he is really after. Meanwhile, Hakeem's 21st birthday party takes an unexpected turn.

Starting with a Previously on of course.

Oh yeah, Jamal and Phil kissed in the previous episode...

Oh... this episode starting off as a wild night.....

Oh D-Major here at the wrong time.

Derek/Jamal/Phil triangle.... oh it seems D-Major probably came out for Jamal?

I didn't expect this...

Aww Derek feels betrayed and Jamal really don't care, he is loving his Phillip right now.

Hakeem birthday today... he's finally about to turn 21, and Lucious telling Hakeem to start acting like a father.

Nessa singing very beautifully.

And Andre liking what he's seeing. Also Nessa looking very great.

Nia Long is here... portraying Giuliana. And Guiliana and Andre are talking and she said she wish she had someone like her when he was starting.

Angelo wanted to know what Anika has on Cookie.
Oh Angelo found Cookie's gun.

And of course he's not happy about it. Her lifestyle is probably becoming even more difficult and difficult for her.

Oh a flashback of to when someone tried to come on to Aretha and she shot him to prove her strenght.

Guess that's the first time she ever used a gun.

We never see much of her so always great to see her.
Aww Hakeem seems sad Tiana won't be at the party.

A Derek and Jamal scene.

Derek admitted that he came out for Jamal, yup I called that.
Aww Derek had people slam him on twitter... aww Derek.

Oh Cookie is not a Derek fan at all, she sort of blames him a bit for Jamal drug issues in the past... she doesn't want Jamal going backwards, I can understand that.

Cookie is so team Phillip!

OH JAMAL WITH THAT SNAP BACk.

Cookie: You better dump his ass before you loss Phillip.
Jamal: Oh okay, Mom. Well how about you drop Dad before you lose Angelo.

I love that snap back towards Cookie. lol Love you Jamal!

Cookie and Jamal scenes are always so terrific.

The relationship between them is so authentic.

Great mom/son relationship.

Oh some tension with Andre and Hakeem.
Hakeem is so through with Andre. lol Oh... Lucious is also bailing on Hakeem's party.

Thirsty expression in the back.

Thirsty is awesome. lololol

Oh Lucious ain't about that Vegas life.

Look at Andre, being a good liar.

Oh Cookie at the salon.

Cookie meets Giuliana.

Anika is back in town.. well that lasted for a short time. lol

I'd think Tariq would be too smart to fall for this.....

But we'll see.

Anika is talking and I'm not sure that Tariq is really buying this or not....
It seems that Anika plan is really working, or is it?

Derek again... his card isn't working it seems...

Oh and Phil is here... a Phil vs Derek confrontation.
Derek believe that what he and Jamal have is fake... and he insulted Phillip bed skills it seems.

A great performance.

Oh sht! this guy then loss his mind... those guys who protected Hakeem earlier seems like some nuts! harassed Kennedy and causing even more danger....

Heck of a birthday party....

I love this scene with Hakeem, Andre and Jamal scene!

It seems Tiana is upset with Hakeem as well, Tiana don't be to upset with Hakeem. He's the exact same person you broke up with in Season 1.

People needs to remember how they broke up to begin with.

Jamal also telling Hakeem to be a man.

Giuliana and Andre scene again.

Enjoying their scenes already.

Andre acting like he an't dating anyone right now.

She's asking about his father, Lucious.

Great, she brought up Nessa.

Oh I love it! she doesn't touch another woman's man without improval of course! Happy that the writers remember how Andre does business.

Just like he was during Season 1.
Yup being sexual is how he's been making deals for years.

Cookie dress is looking very great.

Cookie and Angelo about to have some fun.

Giuliana meeting her people.
She said she got rid of Rafael who was the problem.
Go ahead, Giuliana, being strong here and trying to get it up with Lucious... she'll find her way.

Lucious ain't with people banging in his door that late.

Oh Hakeem here for his girl.

I didn't know he was talking about Bella.

Wow! he's finally growing up to a man....

Lucious liking seeing a mature version of Hakeem right now.

I guess Andre really had to scream at him and give him an reality check.

Awesome, Lucious telling Hakeem about the past.

when Hakeem was born! Lucious delivered Hakeem.

Aunt Carol was the midwife.

Interesting story here.... love this scene here.

We don't get many scenes like this on the show.

It's really amazing to see this side of Lucious cause we really don't get it enough.

Hopefully nothing happens to Bella the first time Hakeem has her.. however, great last scene.

Next episode looks interesting.

Overall I didn't like this episode like the previous ones

I liked the ending with Lucious and Hakeem. Unlike Cookie, Lucious remembers their memories fondly. He is swoon worthy when he is a dad.

Besides I liked seeing Hakeem maturing and wanting to spend time with his daughter. Also I love seeing Bella, she is so precious

D-Major effed up everything. This will be a big problem for Jamal imo.

Nessa looked and sounded amazing

And she was jealous

Andre is up to no good. This woman gives me chills

I am not sure if Andre sabotaged Hakeem or it was really Hakeem's fault

That whole thing was so disturbing.

I am bored with Angelo. I don't believe Cookie loves him at all. Besides they can never have a bond like Lookie. That's irreplacable. Gimme my Lookie. When they act like partners in crime I love them so much

I love Cookie and Jamal scenes

Lucious' mama wanted to kill Boo boo kitty

Anika has another SL this season, that's good.

Well that's pretty much it I think.
