Any kids that Quintis or Waige or Fly have are bound to grow up close, and will likely stay close. They don't have to marry each other for that. If they do marry anyone, they'll just bring their spouses into that extended family.

Agree. This show was very heavily about found family, and I would prefer if the kids of the characters don't marry each other and just continue to show that family is who you choose for yourself and not who you're legally related to.

Family was such a central theme in the show and they did a great job of showing the dynamics of both the blood families and the families formed purely of love.

I also loved the one in late S4 where they're eating in the garage and Walter talks about how wonderful having a family is.

Are you talking about 4.18 Dork Day Afternoon? I love the bit of silent communication between Paige and Walter when Walter realizes how disappointed Ralph is that they won't be working together that evening. It's so very parent-y.

I wonder how Walter and Paige would deal with the pandemic in terms of Ralph's schooling. I suspect they would have to split duties - with Walter taking Science and Math while Paige teaches Ralph things like English and History and Art. Walter would argue that she should take time for those away from the time that he has for Science, but Paige would be strict.

... and then there would be the battle when schools re-open and Walter sees no reason to send Ralph back to "normal" school.

Walter offered to homeschool Ralph right from the start, with the team's help, so I imagine he'd be delighted at the opportunity.
