Elyes Gabel plays a struggling young animal trainer trying to make a name for himself in Hollywood. Unable to afford to keep his own animals, he borrows and trains his friends' pets, only to find that pet parents can be worse than the worst stage mother!

I wanted a way that not only their pets, but Ari, Riley and Tina could also be in it.

Let's not forget Kat and Wilma, and Robert and his menagerie!

And who knows what pets Eddie has because he likes to keep his personal life private, but maybe he keeps... um... horses? Or exotic reptiles? Parrots? ( Sorry, Nicole!)

I'm actually surprised that Elyes doesn't seem to have any pets, or none that he's shown or talked about. Although he seems to like to travel a lot and that can be challenging when you have pets.

With his lifestyle I imagine it would be almost impossible to have a dog, for example. He doesn't seem to have an entourage who could look after it while he was working, or travelling. Perhaps his mum has pets that he sees when he comes home to visit her?

Especially if he's flying across the Atlantic regularly to visit is mom and family. Taking pets on planes can be dicey and who wants to constantly have to put a pet in a kennel. It's not fair to the pet.
