Now let's talk Waige. Favorite scenes, lines, moments? Hopes for next year?

For sheer romance, I love the dance scene. But I also love the "teach Walter to flirt" scene. It's a somewhat overused vehicle - put the two in a position where they have to pretend to be romantic so they can safely show the feelings they normally hide. But in both scenes, I think it was well executed. They used tiny little gestures and expressions to show how the pretense blurred with reality.

I'm really not good at remembering lines, so I can't think of a favorite.

I really want to see these two continue to move toward each other at a snail's pace. There's a part of me that would like Walter to acknowledge that he has feelings for Paige sooner rather than later, but there's a bigger part of me that wants him to continue to resist and reject that. I expect Paige to grow frustrated with that, and I won't be surprised if that leads to her seeking an emotional connection elsewhere. I don't, however, want Walter to react to that with a big fit of jealousy. When Walter finally does realize and accept his feelings for Paige, I want him to come to that realization rationally and calmly.

I don't necessarily hold out much hope that things will go the way I want them. Neither drama nor comedy happen calmly or rationally. So I rather expect some dramatic turning point towards the end of the season.

I would like to see Walter become more comfortable with Paige - in a way that is intimate, but not necessarily romantic. He very nearly went to her apartment at the end of Cliffhanger. I'd like to see him follow through on that impulse to the point that it becomes a regular thing. I want him to become familiar with her home - know where things are kept and spend a lot of his free time there. I also want him to become more physically comfortable with Paige. I'd like hugs and casual touches to become a normal thing, at least when they aren't working.

Lastly, I actually would like to see a Waige kiss next season. I know that doesn't fit in with the rest of my scenario, but I still want to see it. To that end, it can be accidental, part of a undercover thing, or even a dream - but if so, I want it to be Walter's dream. Also - I don't want it to be rushed. It doesn't have to be a hot, deep kiss, but I do want it to last a little while. At least 7 Mississippi's.

Well on TBBT we have separate threads for the actors, and on Nathan Fillion we combine charactor/actor dynamic threads so...what do people want to do?

Yeah, I know a lot of show boards have separate ones, but some have combined. I guess it just depends on how popular the ship/couple is. On The Lying Game board, we had separate threads for the two female/male leads, but she played twins, so she had two separate threads for each "twin" with the actor. Anyway, I'm fine with either or. I can put together a thread/OP for Elyes/Katharine, if we want to go that route.

I prefer to keep threads for the real actors relationships seperate from the ones for the characters. I think it helps people to remember to keep their comments about the real people respectful.
