I did the same! Kat's name pops up on my Google Alerts so often - usually for reasons that don't really interest me (like a photo of what she was wearing when she took Wilma for a walk!

) - that I tend to skim over the notifications and miss anything interesting.

I don't really know much about David, other than what I've read since he and Kat got together, but I assume he's really famous over there to get a whole TV special?

It's a great opportunity to showcase Kat's talents too.

It's a great opportunity to showcase Kat's talents too.

He's produced for Celine Dion, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Olivia Newton-John, Kenny Rogers, Barbara Striesand, Madonna, and that's just who I've been able to come up with on the top of my head.

He's also won nearly 20 Grammys.

I think he's probably more well known among people who are actually in the industry than he is with the general public. He's also written songs for a wide variety of artists, several of which became well known hits.

Yeah that's true - Detroit is weirdly familiar with him, but that may be due to our proximity to Canada.

So Kat's closing the Broadway run of Waitress and now the West End production of Waitress is also closing - in July - but then it's going on tour and it's coming to my local theatre!

Dates are yet to be confirmed, but I can't wait to book my tickets.

I don't know if any of the current West End cast will join the tour, but I really hope so.
