Yes I agree I don't want it to become a continuing theme for Walter like it has in The Big Bang Theory for Leonard where it is a running joke that Leonard is no good of course I don't believe it cause Penny is still with him;)

Thank God because we've known it for what, a week now? But I didn't know if we could talk about it in this thread until it was up on a site like that.

Given that we ended S3 on such a nice, happy note, I'm already a little concerned about just what is going extinct.

I was thinking maybe it refers to how the rest of the world thought Team Scorpion was extinct? And now they're back and maybe everyone is like wait what.

I hadn't thought of that. Good theory - and makes me feel better.

Actually, the idea of the garage being swarmed by press is not far fetched at all. Remember, Cabe was on the phone with someone wanting interviews. The press is not exactly famous for respecting privacy and Scorpion's address is probably not hard to get. I love the idea of Ray as Scorpion's unofficial spokesperson. That would be a riot!

Can you imagine the self-aggrandizing claims that Ray would make in front of a gaggle of reporters. Within minutes, he'd have them believing he runs Scorpion and has a hotline to the Pentagon and the President.

See I was seeing him just going on and on about how he's Walter's best friend.

I can see Waige waking up in bliss and then walter turns on the tv to watch the news while Paige goes to the bathroom and then stares at the news feature story trying to figure out why the building looks so familiar. :lol:

I don't think it would take Walter long to figure it out.

How about if Paige is looking out a window from the loft, and Walter sees that on the TV? :lol:

and Paige is wearing very little and that's on TV;)

Another version I had was that Sly calls Walter to tell him to turn on the TV so he does, and both him and Paige are in bed, staring at the TV, first completely shocked to see Ray there on a zoom-up and then when the camera pans out, they see the garage and immediately jump out of bed before Ray does anything stupid like letting the press inside the garage. :lol: Then when Walter's dressed, he sees that Ray is in front of the front door so he opens it quickly and pulls Ray inside before slamming the door shut to keep the swarming press out. :lmao:

If this is a two-parter, I sure hope it's better than 3.01-3.02. :)

The only thing worse than 3.01-3.02 was 3.11. :P

My initial theory was that the 4.01 title referred to everyone thinking Team Scorpion was gone/extinct, but that doesn't sound like a two parter storyline.

They have a habit of making the titles have double meanings, so it could be that 4.01 is about just that - the team having gone missing - but 4.02 is about something that could cause global extinction if Scorpion doesn't fix it.

You mean something like "we thought you were extinct but we are SURE GLAD you aren't because now we need you to make sure the rest of us aren't!"?
