We really will need lots of fics to get us through the summer, I have a feeling they're going to do something at the end of the finale that will either have us screeching or crying through the hiatus.

Yes. And we'll have to fic things to make it better. Sort of like what happened last summer.

PLEASE just let us go into this hiatus less annoyed, divided, and full of dread than last year.

It's also been a month since we've had anyone publish Waige smut, and with this hiatus and the realization that the season will be over in just over a month, I'm really thirsty for it.

I'm taking a week off starting next Saturday. Going to NC to do some serious house-hunting. Hopefully I'll manage to get there without breaking any bones and I can do some writing on the train trip - and in the evenings at the hotel.

I was hoping to get in some more writing time on my trip...but my car situation completely ruined that.

I might try to do a one shot this week before I go on vacation. I feel the need to exercise my fic-writing muscles before they atrophy.
