I don't understand the attraction. I tried Chic-Fil-A right after I moved down here, because people talk like it's the best thing they ever tasted. I don't get it. It's basically overly salty chicken with a weird aftertaste.

A few months ago, my old bird house fell down and basically disintegrated on impact. I have no idea how old it was, but it still attracted a pair of Bluebirds several times each year, so I was very sad to see it go. Today I mounted a new house in the same location. I'm hoping my Bluebirds will come back.

I don't think mine had any residents when it fell, either. I haven't been here long enough to know what their habits are. I also need to do some research to see if I should prep the new house in any way - like maybe put in some starter grass clippings or something.

First day back at work after surgery went well! I'm sore tonight, but all I did today was walk around and sit in a chair and I would have been sore even if I'd stayed at home.
