Wow. Just wow. This post really struck me. We all have things that we find easy, but when we make light of our efforts - even the efforts we take to do those things we find easy - we are likely making others feel inadequate. You don't have to be fake or disingenuous about it, but acknowledge that even if something is relatively easy for you, you still spent some time and expended some effort to get it done. None of us have a magic genie who does all the work for us.

As much as I relate to Florence, Tina is hilarious and seems really sweet and relatable, plus Andre was one of my favorite movies as a kid, so I'll pick Tina.

I'd pick Tina, too. Mostly because I feel I know more about her and would be able to talk to her about more things.

She sounds like a really fun person, like we could be friends. (Not like "if I met her today we'd become friends" but "if we were classmates or coworkers I think we'd get along super well.")

I've never heard even any rumors about her being hard to work with or be around professionally, which I like a lot. I have definitely heard it about others (not necessarily anyone on Scorpion).

She also managed the transition from child star to adult actress without much drama. Although she can be a bit goofy, she seems very grounded. Hopefully she's been a good role model for Riley in that regard.

Absolutely not. Goofy is a good quality, as long as it doesn't dominate the personality to the determent of reason. It makes for a person who is fun to be around and who finds enjoyment in most facets of life.

It's important to realize that if we don't take care of ourselves, we aren't really helping anyone. That doesn't mean we should always be selfish or that we cannot sometimes be selfless and put our own needs aside for someone else. As with so many things, there needs to be a balance in that. We need to prioritize our own needs based on our life situation. A simple example is if you are sick with the flu, you should not attend a family holiday dinner. Most people accept that and realize that you are safeguarding your family's health as much as your own. It gets more difficult to gain that acceptance when you are struggling with mental health issues or other situations that are harder for others to see. But that's when we need to be firm with ourselves and with those we may be disappointing.
