I love those videos - the entire Scorpion cast seems to love making fun and Robert and Elyes do it great - plus it's just so nice of them to send a greeting to the fans, if they can't be there.

I'm trying to figure out if Robert's comment about a new director - and then Elyes "playing" the director - means the Elyes might direct be directing an episode.

I always find it interesting to look back at some of the older interviews and see what the actors or other folks had to say about the characters and relationships back then.

It's interesting that in this interview - from before season one started - Robert is describing Cabe's relationship with Elyes as pretty much just a job he's got to do. It seems it's evolved into so much more - and the backstory indicates that their relationship has always been a lot more than that.

IF TPTB ever come through with some origin stories, I hope we see some more of Young Walter and Cabe. I'm not sure I want to see when it all went to smash. Although that might be nice and angsty, it would be difficult to find a young actor who can do justice to Walter's emotional nuances - not with the skill that Elyes does. But also because we sort of know that story - at least the basics of it. I'd like to see something from when Cabe was a mentor/supporter.

In light of the last episode I'm in the mood for rewatching some episodes that have great Walter&Cabe father son moments in them. I've watched all the episodes as they aired but I can't remember which ones were great Walter and Cabe episodes (I remember that the first season in particular had some great stuff, but what about episodes apart from the first half of season 1?). Does anyone have some suggestions for episodes I could rewatch? Especially season 2 episodes?

I'm also interested in vidding. I have no idea what's out there in Scorpion fandom. Are there any good Walter & Cabe father son vids?

Grumble. I wrote a reply and it somehow disappeared.

I can't think of a lot of good Walter/Cabe bonding episodes in Season 2. There is 2.08 Area 51 where Cabe tries to get Walter to open up about something. In both 2.13 White Out and 2.17 Adaptation they are working closely together, so there are some good moments there - but more just working together rather than any heart-to-heart talks.

Their father/son dynamic that was so prevalent in S1 all but disappeared in S2, especially when they tried to recast Walter's father figure as Richard Elia (?????? why ???????)
