Yeah Heidi definitely knows the feeling of having a ton of fics around. I've got you back up to 14 updates. But I probably won't be publishing anything else until Sunday or Monday.

After making Paige happy twice, Walter catches Paige yawning and insists they should go to sleep, even though he hasn't had his happy time. They wake up in the morning and finish what they started, during which Walter employs knowledge of geometry to good advantage.

I cried at your description of this part.

Well given my trip to Ohio then my sister graduating, I wouldn't have been able to get anything out any sooner than today anyway - but if you weren't caught up I was going to wait longer.

I realized today that one of the few things I like about hiatus is that I have a chance to write multi-chapter fics without them going off-canon before I finish. I had a great time with my Tahoe fic last summer, but it's harder to work on Internal Combustion because it is so completely off-canon now.

That was why I pushed so hard to finish Serendipity before season three started. I know the first few months it was being published season two was still going on, but I was able to use that to build up the first third of the story (Linda, radiation, etc) and then got to run with what I'd built up all summer.
