News Break: MacGyver (Season 5 Episode 8) I loved the original MacGyver, but I don't enjoy the rebooted version. I might watch this ep just for RP though.  __________________

I've come to appreciate RP more since Scorpion, but that doesn't mean I'll watch anything he's in. I am looking forward to seeing the movie that he made in Hungary (I think that's where it was).

BITD I would watch anything to see John Denver. But BITD, it was harder to catch a glimpse of any celebrity. Without streaming or the internet or even cable TV or VCRs, you were dependent on the few shows that were broadcast on 3 or 4 tv channels and whatever movies came to your local theater - and that you could afford to pay to go see. So if JD was on the Ed Sullivan show, you can bet your pants I was going to watch it.

Way back in the day I'd watch anything that Leonard Nimoy was in. I even made my family suffer through his stint on Mission: Impossible. These days I'm a lot pickier.
But I would love to see the Hungarian movie that Robert made. It's sort of right up my alley, anyway. __________________

It wasn't that Leonard Nimoy was bad in M.I., it's more that the whole show sort of was going downhill at that time.
