hmm... I'd probably give it something like a C+? Maybe a C.
There were better moments - and it finished reasonably strong overall - but there were too many dropped plot lines, little character development , repeated SL's if just used a little differently - and while Teddy did a good job playing Zoom - I had a hard time figuring out what the hell Zoom was really doing and if he really knew. Because things just didn't fit that well. and there were a lot of characters whose development and progress heading into Season 3 was half done or not done at all. Sure, Iris and Barry are closer than ever to being together romantically... but Iris own development in a character development arc? Not really there. Is she still even an a reporter? maybe? her boss disappeared and so did any attempt at showing her at work and even that was largely to have her and her boss interact and not give her something to do. Her character had some good moments here and there during the stretch run - but nothing really consistent and nothing really about her more than anyone else. Joe... is basically the same guy he was in Season 1 with little change. there was the brief development when Francine was there and he found out about Wally and being a dad etc... but then that kind of faded some IMO and he went back to being Joe - the good guy and generally good dad etc... - but not much else. Caitlin... ugh. I mean outside of being hurt again and again, etc. - not really anything. I'm laughing at the idea she might be KF in Season 3 because really... nothing at all set that up in Season 2 with how it ended... she had PTSD for a hot flash (pun intended) and then seemed fine etc and back to being he generic smart chick role. Cisco - they kind of set up his growing powers at least through the season. Barry - growing powers, confidence, relationship with Iris and his with Wally kind of established, etc. Joe - uh... Wally? I mean, again, not much there. Iris- sure, her importance and relationship to Barry... but after that? Caitlin- uh. well... ...... she still works at Star Labs? I'm honestly having a hard time deciding which is worse. The fact that Iris only real life line for importance on the show is her pending romance with Barry... or Caitlin... whose only life line is the fact that she works at the primary set piece of the show. I mean... I don't think the show could have done less with either of them this season - and in some ways thus far in the series - than if they actually tried to do nothing with them - when it comes to giving them their own character centric arc that wasn't about a LI or being a secondary character in someone else's. __________________

and yes Iris, is like as u said, love thing for barry and thats it, we saw a BIT of journalism, but that was because of her boss, i do hope they bring her back to that, or then do something else with her character but what i dont know and caitlin yes, i get yiur point that its kind of weird she had PTSD only one episode or so and then she is fine and making her KF in season 3 would be kind of weird and really not fit somehow , cause its not led up to it and i get it, it is kind of like iris is a lifeline just standing there to get together with barry, we do need more with her character really and caitlin is just , i dont know, can we know more about her past or some flashback or just something so we feel we know her OR are you right, that maybe they will bring ronnie back in FP and thats her SL again? __________________

yer i agree i do believe they should of done more work with Jay he could of been such a big deal if it was done right i really enjoyed him as zoom it was fantastic but him as jay needed more work the betrayal wasn't that hard to handle .
and yes Joe didn't have a huge change but i enjoyed that . i feel the West as a whole should of had more focus i think it wasn't as big cause Barry wasn't there so it was a small sideline piece __________________

yeah i agree on the jay thing, i love zoom i mean so well played, but Jay yeah , we needed more bonding from him and caitlin to actually feel something, like we did with wells in the first season that was crazy
and yeah i mean i do like joe alot, but its true, the family should be developed, which i believe it will in season 3 when wally is there __________________

1st, he was fine with killing Barry (2x06, enter Zoom, he sure looked like he was about to kill him and told him goodbye, etc.) Not to mention sending meta's to E-1 where in theory, one of them could have succeeded in killing Barry. Then he didn't want him dead because he needed Barry's speed. Then, he needed to race Barry to use the machine to destroy the multi verse... but there was no guarantee that would happen if Barry didn't have his speed, which Zoom had taken... so I don't know how that plan would have worked. not to mention the beginning where Zoom kills his time remanent or whatever and says " this is a complication" but then later on claims it was all pre planned? why was it a complication then if it was planned out? that's the stuff I mean... the show didn't give you a clear plan or motivation for the character. he was all over the damn place. then you find out the time wraiths are coming after him... but he just hangs out in the same lair / place and they can't find him? really? __________________

yeah the thing with the time wraths was bothering me to zoom was just running trough time as pleased, but staying the same place it is kind of funny when u think about it, that they couldnt find him for that long.

yeah... and weird casting note ...
13 of the 15 actors / characters who have appeared on the show with blue eyes have been villains. apparently the Flash does not trust those with blue eyes. Weather Wizard - current one (Mark Mardon) Captain Cold, Rory and Lisa Snart all blue. Mark Hamill is blue eyed and at one time was blonde / light brown Hartley is blue eyed though not blonde Zolomon / Zoom was blue eyed and blonde. Reverse Flash is blue eyed and blonde. Harrison Wells as the Reverse Flash is not blonde but is blue eyed. Atom Smasher = blonde and blue eyed. Griffin Grey had blue eyes though not blonde hair. Adam Stafford (Geomancer) blue eyes. Eliza (Trajectory) had blue eyes. Death Storm would have had blue eyes then. Bug Eyed Bandit (blue eyed and blonde) Michael Christopher Smith (Danton Black / Multiplex looks like he has blue eyes) maybe hazel? Chad Rook (original weather wizard / Clyde Martin) blonde and blue eyed Kett Turton (Sand Demon) is blue eyed. Plastique - though a tragic villain was blue eyed or the actress is. Greg Finley (Tony Woodward / Girder) Paul Anthony (rage inducing meta human ) Devon Grey (Aexl Walker, Tricker #2) Non blue eyed villains: Grodd (duh) Turtle Reverb Dr. Light King Shark (duh) Tar Pit Kyle Nimbus (Mist) Black Out Shawna Baez Unknown: Every man - since he couldn't remember what he looked like its hard to say what his eye color was IMO I guess if I was a blue eyed actor or actress asked to audition on the flash - and even more so if I had blonde hair + blue eyes , it seems to be I have a good shot of playing the role of the villain lol as 8 out of 10 have been villains __________________
