I was an idiot and said yes when they asked me to work today on my day off

I'm only working a short shift so I'm eating lunch with my bestie later.

I meant dinner not lunch lol. But anyway, I ended up working an 8 hour shift and was late to my dinner! Ugh. I marched straight into the boss' office and told him I need more $$$.

I never got President's Day off.

But then I worked in manufacturing and that industry wants to keep it's employees working no matter what. Time is money.

I went hiking today. It was up these stairs and it's like 1,000+ stairs omg. Took me forever!

How is everyone doing? I am looking for a new job already. They won't give me more money and I am probably better off somewhere else.

That's an awesome trail Jo! It reminds me of the stairs leading to Tahquamenon Falls located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Getting there is OK because it's going down but climbing back up.......OMG! Here's a pic of part of the stairs but you get the idea. And the Falls are below.
