Hope it was restful.
So I have a story. It's slightly traumatic for me to think about, even though I wasn't there. My brother had a dog named Zeke who was super sweet. Out of the clear blue sky (no one can figure out what happened and he's vaccinated for Rabis) he just went ballistic. He was charging everyone, he kept trying to attack the kids, he bit my brother's girlfriend. So while my brother took her to the hospital a family friend (who was there and who's kids were the ones almost bitten) took a gun to shoot the dog because there was just no calming him, he was totally rabid. She's a hunter herself but she was traumatized because she had to shoot him 5 times before he finally stopped coming towards her. She even shot him in the eye and he was still running for her.
This is why I'm scared of dogs. He was super sweet, never hurt a fly and then just went rabid. Luckily everyone is ok, including my brother's girlfriend, and thankfully it wasn't worse, but man. I'll stick to cats. They can scratch the hell out of you if they want, but they can't do the damage a rabid dog can.
Sorry to any dog fans. I'm not really saying all dogs are like this, but I had a similar experience as a tiny child and have been wary of dogs ever since. This kind of brings up those traumatic feelings.
