Jesse was almost like the "other woman" in Walt's life(without the sexual aspects) and I think this created the tension in their scenes. They were amazingly played out by Aaron and Anna :love:

Jesse was taking Walt away from Skyler so technically he was acting like the other woman/person in Walt's life. I guess that is why there was so much tension when they were together. :lol: It made some great moments in the show.
