Every element is in CS. I look at what Charming has done for Snow, and I see that in Hook, Emma/Hook. Plus all the main 4 couple of OUAT have met in the Enchanted Forest... where True Love is most emphasis on  and I always found it very fascinating that Emma meet or shall I say FINDS him there AFTER she breaks the curse on the whole town.__________________

Wow very interestingly put.
I always think ya know.. if the couples can find each other if they're cursed or what not then it's a sign that they're soul mates (since Snowing were attracted to each other when they were cursed in s1, and then OQ had this sort of attraction/pull when they re-met in SB )I also think it's remarkable how they didn't like each other at first (or rather she didn't like him particularly) but then they slowly developed their bond and feelings for each other. __________________

I think with a show like OUAT its not your typical show where you can throw anyone together and that's fine, it aint a medical show or a teen show.
With this show everything is pretty much mostly planned and esp the couples as they have to be designed to be a FIT for each other, lay their groundwork, show their foreshadowing in scenes and visuals, dialogues etc.... Its no wonder Emma's first centric in season 2 has on a journey with Hook in the present - connecting and so on... Hook is the first man to instantly read her like a book. And then we also see her past with the man who ditched her and why... and we he didn't choose her ONCE at all (and other things throughout we see of him after). And Emma first time tells Hook and us audience about her past - that she was once in love.... cue flashbacks. So Hook was always going to be her present and future from their on. Because OUAT actually lays a pretty good structure on what they are foreshadowing. And also as we all know Hook was always wanted since season 1, just had a rights issue and Colin was made main regular even before his first episode aired. __________________
