Possible Board Closure Discussion: Please Read and Respond!
 

Hi everyone!

Era and I have been discussing this, and we think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

While Ed has been going non-stop lately, it seems like we've just kinda slowed down! We survived his year of MIAness but sometimes things just seem like they have run their course. :group_hug:

Oh no :no: I'm so sorry you guys have to think about this sort of decision especially since he's been so active with his Divide tour :eek: I will support you girls no matter what so whatever you decide, I'm sure it'll be the right one :group_hug:

Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I used to, so I can't really dedicate some time to boards other than the ones I moderate. :(

It was a very hard decision. Both Era and I have just been busy and for me, I'd decided to step down from both my boards. I never expected to post this typeof thread on either of my boards :hug:

It is so hard :hug; but do it when it is best for you and on your terms you did very well

It's sad to see this board close. I still remember how hard we fought to have this opened 3 yeas ago. It's been such a joy being a mod here during this time and having you here every now and then. Unfortunately, life has been very busy for both Jenn and I, so it's been hard to keep it as alive as it deserves. :(

Jenn and Era, I'm sorry. :bawl: :( I haven't been very helpful myself, but I'm really sorry to see this board go, and especially since Ed is such a wonderful artist. :(

But you girls were amazing moderators here and I know you did everything we could. :group_hug: :kiss: and we'll always have a thread for Ed on 1D too :back_hug:

You should be proud of having it open for 3 years that is huge .. it's just slightly harder to mod a singer board that your usual tv or actor one .. but you did well
