Honestly what was Wes thinking, he knew that Newt's death was going to be the source of sadness for the fans but to drive the knife deeper by implanting an idea that Newt could be rescued? That's cruel

Exactly... I just really don't understand what he was thinking. Losing Newt is already one of/if no the hardest things about this series, but adding a cure, a cure that comes from his best mate.. that is just so cruel.

I actually like the movie, I just really hate that they had real cure. Usually I would be all for that, but it ruined the movie for me.

The movie was alright albeit the obvious story changes compared to the book, but I suppose I can't watch Newt not being able to take the cure.

I totally understand that.. I also hate knowing that Thomas now knows he could have saved Newt, but was just too late in finding out his blood was the cure, so now not only has his lost one of the most important people in his life, but he has to have the extra burden placed on his shoulders that he was the one person that could have saved him
 It was just not a nice thing for any Newt, Thomas or Newtmas fan to watch  __________________

Putting that kind of guilt on anybody is wrong, especially someone like Thomas who already feels responsible for everyone being stuck in that maze to begin with. If they wanted to hurt him so bad, they would have killed him off altogether

Obviously Thomas dying is the last thing I would want, but doing what they did to him in TDC was a fate worse then death for him... I have no doubt Thomas would gladly switch with Newt/Teresa if he could  __________________
