The title hurts.

madness 12-05-2014 04:05 AM

I'm sorry. :( It was the first one I came across.

dancing in the rain 12-05-2014 07:25 AM

I guess might as well start preparing ourselves to seeing it from now even if it is two movies away. Still not over it though.

madness 12-05-2014 07:26 AM

I am definitely not ready for that, nor will I ever be, I think.

dancing in the rain 12-05-2014 07:43 AM

Nope. I don't think we will, I know I won't. While reading, I knew the situation was hopeless but I could at least hold on to what little hope I have that it might turn out otherwise, but now we know and we'll actually be seeing it so it's going to be 100 times worse.

madness 12-05-2014 07:46 AM

Yeah, for the moment they listed the immunes, I was like "Noooooo. Don't do this to me." and by the third book you know that Dashner loves killing people just because and I just didn't want it to happen.

And he's gonna play it so well, you just know it. I'm so not ready.

nooooooooooooo nooooooo NOOOOOOOOOOO

Dashner really couldn't keep Teresa alive for like 5 more pages??? I'M SO DONE :bawl:

madness 12-08-2014 02:30 PM

 I'm so sorry, love.

JoJoF92 12-08-2014 02:52 PM

I kinda felt it coming.. my favorite female characters die 95% of the time so I don't know why I'm even surprised anymore..maybe not even surprised it just hurts and it mixes with a lot of emotions..
Newt's death hit me also x( the thing is that I barely even had time to process that and then that happened. it was too much at once :bawl:
both were so different but very painful  I think Teresa's was so sudden and I had my hopes up cause it was almost over and thought that they were gonna make it but noooooo -__-
with Newt I thought we wouldn't see him after he'd sent the boys away in the crank palace and that was heartbreaking enough but then Thomas had to finish him after all http://imgsrv2.tennisuniverse.com/wt...es/sobbing.gif

I seriously am never getting over Newt's death... Like ever. It just hurts to even think about it, and from the moment you know he's not immune, it's just like constant dread of what might happen.

Teresa's was just so the Brenda/Thomas/Teresa thing wouldn't be one of the many questions people had at the end of the book, I think? Plus it's such a huge shock factor with only so many pages left where you think everything is finally turning out to be okay.

JoJoF92 12-08-2014 03:13 PM

yeah I think in a way it was inevitable to put an end to the "love triangle" cause Thomas started to trust her again and remember the old days where they were still best friends..Idk if he could've ever felt about her the same way in time but that settled it anyways...
I liked the ending though, and I'm glad Thomas at least has Brenda. it's still very sad but not all sad.

madness 12-08-2014 03:15 PM

Exactly. Its painful in the worst way but it worked out for the better. Thomas and Brenda are so sweet, I hope they turned out alright.

JoJoF92 12-08-2014 03:23 PM

I'd like to think they did.

ah, I'm just thinking about that the loss of the characters will be even more painful on film if that's possible cause I really love the actors too http://imgsrv2.tennisuniverse.com/wt...es/sobbing.gif
