It would have been better if they didn't drop the 3 of them immediately on dark elf terrority. There should have been a longer and difficult journey to get to them

Man, I was so looking forward to the "road trip". But at least what we got from it was good, and Jane was unconscious during it. :lol:

We got 2 really good scenes between the boys :D

If only the rest of the film had been as good as those moments...

But you know what, I must thank Blackhat for being so dull that in comparison The Dark World is worth an A rating. :lol:

How are Michael Mann's other films?

"Heat", Hiddles' beloved movie :D , is very good, and I didn't mind Public Enemies either. That's all of his work I've seen though, I think, apart from The Last of The Mohicans.

All that research on the technical aspects of the hackers and computer world, but so little effort spent on the characters and the plot.

But Jurassic World had beyond ridiculous plot and characters, and still succeeded. So who knows what works at the BO.

I guess because Jurassic World was already established and people are suckers for big monster movies. Blackhat was a stand alone and honestly cyber thrillers are a hard market to sell these days.
