Only reason I remember that is that the guy that was in The Mortal Instruments movie with Lily Collins, which I adored and wanted more of, modeled for Burberry and he used to go to their shows over there in London. I can't even remember his name now...he has a band too. I need to look him up on imdb.

Yes thank you! That was enough to jog my memory. Jamie Campbell Bower. He was also in The Twilight Saga as Caius and was also in a few of the Harry Potter films. He hasn't made a movie since The Mortal Insturments, City of Bones from 2013. It's been 4 years. He has done some voice work and is now in a TNT series called Will-10 eps so far.
His band is named Counterfeit. It seems he took the blame for the supposed "failure" of City of Bones. Unfair. Lilly is still making movies-in England but still working. And he's doing cartoon voices and cable tv...Those books were very popular-why the so-called fans didn't support the film is beyond me. I'm still :mad: about it!

I did too! And he and Lilly had the necessary chemistry too. I never understood it. I never will...The cast was spot-on. There's a tv show now-which I don't watch. None of the film actors are in it either.

i love the tv show. but i thought the movie was good too. i thought they needed a better magnus though and they never got to tell the malec storyline in that. but thats why i love the tv show they got to do that plus so much more

I never got into the tv show. My Mom died about the time it started and I had other things to think about. And it just ticked me off that they didn't offer those parts to the actors from the film. Instead they hire all new ones and younger people that no one's ever heard of. I do like Dominic Sherwood tho. Loved him from Vampire Academy-another film that should have been a franchise and the book fans poo-pooed it. I'm still :mad: over that one too!
