Fractured his hip so he had to have a metal rod and 3 screws put in. Was in the hospital for about a week after the surgery then he went to an inpatient rehab center for elderly people. He was there for about 2 weeks when he started vomiting every time he ate and hallucinating. Turns out he had urosepsis (bladder infection) and it was affecting his kidneys (he already had chronic kidney disease) and so his medications weren't metabolizing and the doses were just building up in his body causing the hallucinations so back we went to the hospital for another week to treat it with antibiotics. He's back at the rehab center now and they've been able to get him started walking.

oh wow. so sorry he had to go through all that. hopefully he will be on the road to recovery now that they know what is going on with him

Thanks, he's doing a lot better now. He'll never have full use of his left side since the stroke affected that side the most 5 yrs ago. Unfortunately, that was the side he broke his hip on. They diagnosed him with Osteoporosis too while he was there for the surgery.

Are you guys having terrible air quality days too due to the Canadian wildfires? The last few days ours has been between 230-275, which is in the Very Unhealthy tier. It's all hazy and foggy outside from the smoke.

Yes, ours is 177.9. Which is unhealthy. Your all's is worse. Have they told you all to stay in? We were told stay in if you have a health issue, like COPD or asthma, or some other lung disease. I have asthma, I went to work-used my inhaler 4 times today. Which is a lot for me. So I can tell the difference. I hope your all's gets better fast...

Ours is better today, not in the 200s anymore. Hopefully, it will get back to normal soon.
