We just bought this game a few nights ago for the Nintendo Gamecube. It's really fun and I have never heard of it until we saw it at K-Mart.

It's basically a fighting game, but without the violence and gore like you get with Mortal Kombat.

You can play as different characters, and levels, as well as unlock new characters and levels.

The characters you can play are Mario, Pikachu (Pokemon), Bowser, Peach, Yoshi, DK, Captain Falcon, Fox McCloud, Ness, Ice Climbers, Kirby, Samus, Zelda, Link and Sheik.

Every character has different moves. Yoshi does the egg lay, egg roll and egg throw. Bowser has fire breath, koopa klaw and bowser bomb.

It's just really fun.

Oh man I've been a fan of Super Smash Bros since it came out on N64. It's addicting.

My kids have this game, and have unlocked just about every character they have. I enjoy watching them play, they are like masters....

I manged to get the one on N64. It's really irking on how you have to go through the bonus stages like breaking the target or board the platforms. The only character this is easy on is Mario. Can someone tell me how to unlock Ness and Captain Falcon (or what's-his-name)? I know Luigi, you have to pass the bonus stage 1 with all 8 characters and Jigglypuff, you just need to pass the normal stage.

I'm not sure if we have unlocked those characters yet. I know we have Jigglypuff unlocked already. I really don't ever play it. My BF and son play it all the time. My son is actually the one who has unlocked characters and other levels. He is only 3 and is super good at playing this game.
