Elder Scrolls appreciation #1: I used to be an Adventurer like you...
The Elder Scrolls: Arena is an epic fantasy open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Softworks and released in 1994 for PC DOS. It is the first game in The Elder Scrolls series. Like its sequels, Arena takes place on the continent of Tamriel, complete with wilderness, dungeons, and a spell creation system that allows players to mix various spell effects. The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall[/B] is an epic fantasy open world action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Softworks and released in 1996 for MS-DOS. It is a sequel to The Elder Scrolls: Arena and the second installment in The Elder Scrolls series. It is the first game in the series to be rated M. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind: is an open world fantasy action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios, and published by Bethesda Softworks and Ubisoft. It is the third installment in The Elder Scrolls series of games. It was released in North America in 2002 for Microsoft Windows and the Xbox. Well-received publicly and critically, with over four million sales[5] and more than 60 awards (including Game of the Year),[6] the game spawned two expansion packs for the PC: Tribunal and Bloodmoon. Both were eventually repackaged into a full set containing all three, Morrowind: Game of the Year Edition, which shipped on October 30, 2003 for both PC and Xbox. [IMGhttp://i49.tinypic.com/2yphlq9.jpg[/IMG] The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is an action role-playing open world video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks and the Take-Two Interactive subsidiary 2K Games. It is the fourth installment in The Elder Scrolls action fantasy video game series. After a number of smaller content releases, a major expansion pack, Shivering Isles, was distributed. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition (a package including both Shivering Isles and the official plug-in Knights of the Nine) was released in September 2007 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, and on Steam in June 2009. A fifth anniversary edition was shipped in North America in July 2011 and in Australia in September 2011. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action role-playing open world video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth installment in The Elder Scrolls action role-playing video game series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Skyrim was released on November 11, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. On May 29, 2012, Bethesda announced Dawnguard, the first downloadable add-on for Skyrim. The Xbox 360 version of Dawnguard launched in English-speaking territories on June 26, 2012, and in France, Italy, Germany and Spain in mid-July 2012.[64] It was released on Windows (via Steam) on August 2, 2012.[65] Due to performance issues, the PlayStation 3 version of Dawnguard has been delayed indefinitely, and Bethesda has expressed concern that future Skyrim DLC may not be able to be added to the system as well. The second add-on for Skyrim, Hearthfire, was released on September 4, 2012 for Xbox 360 and October 4, 2012 on PC.[68] The add-on allows the player character to purchase a plot of land and build their own home from raw materials such as lumber and clay, with the option of adding greenhouses, bee hives and alchemy/enchanting facilities. Hearthfire also introduces the option to raise a family by adopting children. Dragonborn was released on December 4, 2012, initially only for the Xbox 360, Dragonborn is the third add-on for Skyrim and it allows players to ride Dragons. The Elder Scrolls Online is an upcoming massively multiplayer role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios, to be released in early 2013.[1][2] It is a part of the The Elder Scrolls video game franchise, of which it is the first open-ended multiplayer installment. It was announced on May 3, 2012, in an exclusive reveal by Game Informer and formally revealed in the same month's issue of the magazine. __________________

Oh right, I use that website all the time... Ugh.
I'm gonna finish the thieves guild, and hopefully the dark brotherhood, then it's time for the MQ on Skyrim __________________

I'm not much of a PC gamer, I need a controller in my hands, but once it goes f2p I might check it out.

I use tinypic all the time.
I found out about the MMO a few months ago. They already have some video footage on youtube. It's going to take players all over Tamriel and the graphics are very similar to the caliber of Skyrim. It seems like a huge undertaking. I also play almost exclusively on Xbox though so I'm not sure I'll end up playing it even though I really want to. If I found some people to play it with I would consider buying it for PC though. Also, the OP is not too much at all. You did very good. __________________

Love Skyrim. I just downloaded Dragonborn because I got a MS points card for Christmas but I haven't gotten to play it yet. I also loved Hearthfire. I really enjoyed being able to make my own home and customize it and finally have a place to keep all my stuff organized (because I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to fine goods, ). I got started with Morrowind, loved Oblivion (which I might pick up and play again sometime soon) and now am obsessed with Skyrim. I love the series. Don't know how I feel about the MMO though. I don't really get into those kinds of games.

I played a little bit of Morrowind, and I'd love to try and pick it up eventually, but the first Elder scrolls I really got into was Oblivion.
I got skyrim as a download for my 360. __________________
