I honestly thought we'd been doing better than that..I hadn't been counting or anything but it seemed like we were getting more posts..

well till this weekend, we've been buried this weekend..I don't think we had 5 posts..

I'm not sure if the games board can be saved or not but I'd like to try..anyone else here that would like to try?

Wow! I knew things were a little slow, but I didn't realize they were that slow.

I'd help, but I really don't play the games that other play here...guess I'm the only KOTOR expert:lol:

Hopefully things will turn for this board. I know that there are gamers out there...just got to bait them to come over here and post.

I know...instead of "begging"...how about giving away copies of halo2:look:

I don't think the majority of the posters on this board would play Halo 2 anyway.

yeah, I guess Halo 2 isn't for everyone..sadly. ;)

The "problem"... And I use the word lightly because I can't think of anything else... With FF's Game Board is that it is very limited considering FF's main demographic.

Translation:

Gamers are mostly pre-teen boys to mid-20s for both consoles and PC games.

FF's main demographic is mostly teen-to-mid-20s females (on average). That is the main issue right there. Most posters who frequent FF either just do not play games, or have no desire to post on this board if they do.

Yes. There are girl gamers as evidenced by the Girl Gamers Thread... But that is ONE thread among the entire FF population if you get my drift?

Also, games themselves have their own forums as do platforms and that is where most of the game "talk" goes on to be blunt. FF doesn't specialize in that. It specializes in Movies, Music and TV for the most part. Ergo, this lack of specialization is why the Games board is slow.

yeah I agree..I think it was me and Tracy(former games mod) that talked about this and pretty much came to the same conclusions..:)

I'm open to any ideas anyone has to increase the traffic on this board..we have been doing alot more posting but almost all of that is current posters posting more..so any ideas..:)

We tried the sig thing a could years, and it didn't really help..:( but I'll try anything..:)
