Games we Want #1- "Only 3,674 hours until it's released!"
 

Alright, so I know we have a thread to talk about the games we've purchased recently, but what about the games we want. Well, here it is. I figred this thread would be a good melting pot of games we want, whether they've already come out or haven't been released yet.

I'm kind of interested in The Witcher. The new one doesn't come out until May but a friend of mine said the first one was really good. It's pretty cheap on amazon.com and I could probably download it on Steam so I might have to try to play through the first game before the second one comes out.

There are quite a few games coming out this year that I'm interested in, several series that are releasing new games. Right now, I'm keeping an eye on:
Dragon Age 2
Deus Ex: Human Revolution (I was a huge fan of the first game but got bored of the second so we'll see what happens with this one)
Duke Nukem Forever (I was raised on the original, so I can't wait for this one. Even if it's crap it'll be fun to play it for the nostalgia)
Two Worlds 2 (I was disappointed in the first one but thought it had potential. I'm willing to give the second one a chance)
Ghost Recon Future Soldier

I'll also probably get The Sims Medieval. It looks pretty funny :lol:

I think this is a bigger game year than normal for me. I normally buy 3-5 games a year, but there are a lot more this time around that I'm really interested in.

So, what about everyone else? What games are you looking forward to?

Duke Nukem Forever (hoping it will be FPS and not a continuation of the flop last 3PS one they released...)

Yeah, I'm hoping it's more akin to the original one. I never even bought the 3PS. Loved the humor in the first, though. And I'm kind of hoping they still include the "pig" cops :lol:

Nice, that looks good. I'm glad they kept it FPS. And I saw some stills on IGN that said they had the shrink ray. Can't wait for that. It was so much fun in the old one to shrink bad guys and then stomp on them.

Oh yeah! Portal 2 I am longing for to be released this year some time! :D :D I loved Portal: Still Alive. Still not gone past lvl 17 of the advanced levels... :pout:

I've seen a couple more releases on Duke Nukem and I'm really excited. It looks pretty good!

Oh yeah - we'll be getting it for the 360, for sure. :lol:

Have you seen the videos on YouTube and elsewhere? There are a few gameplay previews available to watch. :) Brings back memories of being in my brothers room watching him play Duke Nukem...

I loved to play it as a kid. It and Doom II were the games I was raised on when I was like 6 :lol:
I'm excited to see the reboot, and can't wait to see what they've done with the series. I'm glad they've left in the Duke Nukem one liners he says during game play. So funny, and they add so much to the game.

Is there a release date out yet?

May 3rd according to Amazon.com, but it's been pushed back so many times so far, as long as it's released this year, I'll be happy :lol:
