3x14 - episode discussion

Malcolm (John Barrowman) puts Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Thea (Willa Holland) in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver’s former enemy, Deathstroke (guest star Manu Bennett). A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo (guest star Karl Yune) returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller (guest star Cynthia Addai-Robinson) not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Tommy (guest star Colin Donnell).

Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Erik Oleson (#314).

I really looove Felicity but I wished it would have been Moia who he saw at the company..
that moment somehow will change that first moment he's coming to her office for me forever somehow taking tha magic away

I wished that it was Moira too and literally thought it was her when we saw the heels and am like you where got absolute for Felicity

First thought before reading your reaction was opposite to yours I felt that it added some back story to that first scene. I've written a full response on the O/F thread but you may be right that it takes from the magic. I'll have to watch the two scenes back to back and go from there

It not only takes away the magic from their first meeting but also from their first date, when he told the story and mentioned the red pen

I do see it taking away from what he mentioned in their date about the red pen cause that was magical

I just think Im indifferent about the flashback right now :sheug: will need to maybe re watch it and some of the other bigger OF scenes
