Episode Discussion | 2x12 'The Hail Mary' {AIRS: 24th June, 2016}
 

This was a decent episode in parts, boring in others... Poor Dougal moaning whilst Colum was already dead. :lol: He looked so frail.

That ending was awful. Me and my mom were laughing so hard. His acting was awful at the end and then he beat his dead brother. I literally couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard. It was diabolical, no idea what the producers were thinking.

I liked the parallel with the two sets of brothers

Which brothers?

Colum/Dougal and Jack/Alex. They switched back and forth during the death scenes, I thought it was well done.

I really liked this episode and the very interesting weird relationships between both sets of siblings. The Dougal/Colum scene was so sad to me. They have made Dougal seem really pathetic and kind of...defeated this season. But he really did love Colum, in his own way. I was really disturbed by Jack Randall's outburst on dead Alex. He is so very disturbed.

I'm so glad someone else feels sad about dougal/colum :nod: I hate how they treated dougal

I keep rewatching this one, for obvious reasons :sigh:

Poor Mary, that must be horrific, the man you just married is beating up the (dead) man you love :no:

I like how impressed Jack was.

I kinda liked how he was with his brother.
But that doesn't make up for all the horrible things he's done.
I'm glad Mary won't have to deal with him, poor girl :no:

It's a relief for Mary though :love:

I don't think he would harm her
