How does everyone think the book faired when adapted to screen?

In most respects, the show was superior, but I was missing some of the scenes.

I don't remember enough from the book :bawl: I think this was The book that I just skipped so much.
It couldn't hold my interest at the start of it and it took me forever to pick it back up again. Then when I did it still didn't really grab me, but I plowed through :lol:
So I can't really compare the two :shrug:
