Thanks Hazel! That makes a lot of sense. Oliver is basically spending most of this episode in a full on rage blackout so yeah I'd say that song fits.


The title sheet for 4x14 said they'd film some in January too so they are probably mostly done with it but still have a little bit of filming left to do when they return.


I just thought of something. Olicity are still together after Felicity's shooting. That means Oliver does not push her away for her protection or anything like that. And I just think that is amazing growth for him! He spent like 3 seasons thinking he needed to keep the people he cares about away from him and he's going to almost loses the love of his life but he manages to not regress. He's going to stay by her side and respect that it's her life and her choice. There might be some overprotective tendencies that come out after this but he's not going to let his fear of her getting hurt prevent them from being together. He's going to choose to make being with her and their superhero life work. He's come so far! He's so much better equipped to fix this William situation when it blows up then he would've been in previous seasons. And the first half of the season really set up how strong and deep Olicity's love is. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy, we found ourselves in each other, Felicity's speech about marriage in 4x09. I think all those things were to ensure us Olicity will get through the trials they have to face. I mean they have come so far together, survived and worked through so much at this point. They can handle this William situation, it's really not even close to the worse thing they've endured. So I am cautiously optimistic that this William situation maybe won't actually be too horrible, won't take too long for them to work through. It's just in no way something that should end or break Olicity. The only possible way for this to go is, Olicity survives it and is stronger for it. Which I knew from the start but just thinking about how aside from the rage blackout in his attempts to get DD, Oliver will handle Felicity's shooting in a much more evolved way than old Oliver would've and that means good things for how this Willaim situation goes too.

LOL! Although I find the idea of them giving her the code name "Hacker" completely hilarious. I really don't think the writers are going to put that little of thought into her code name. At least I would hope not?! :shrug:

I'm excited for 4x11 since it seems to be a big Felicity episode from what we know about it so far.

I really hope they put more thought into her codename than that. And hacker has somewhat of a bad connotation so I wouldn't want that to be her code name. These are supposed to be really creative people, they should be able to come up with a really amazing code name for a beloved awesome character four years into the show. It's really not that hard. I still bitter it won't be Lighthouse. That would've been perfect!
