I agree. It's a rare case of how to handle a relationship on a show! (I've been burned a lot in the past ) Other series should take note.

I am thinking of that funny time they were arguing about Jake getting a new mattress cause Amy wanted him to upgrade and they ended up getting into a big fight about it, mentioning "butts" while on a stake out. Then Holt ended up seeing it and Jake had to admit it was a big bitch fight.

I just watched the episode where Jake and Rosa try to solve a murder together for the sake of the victim's mother, who reminds them of their own moms.


But there was a hilarious scene where Amy wakes up to Jake looking murderous holding a knife and she flips out "why are you holding a knife, what are you doing, why am I covered in red post it notes?" Jake was trying to re-enact the murder on a sleeping Amy Poor lady, what she has to go through being with Jake.
