wally was probably my favorite in the episode - non canon as it is I do enjoy he and Jessie

and con starring for me was Teddy/Hunter/Zoom, though they insist on calling him Jay.

Wasn't a huge fan as Jay but as Hunter/Zoom? - he's really been quite amazing IMO.


- thought the betrayal happened in 2x22 - guess that's 2x23?. probably makes more sense there

On a side note: I kind of want her to take over STAR Labs and make it successful again while secretly letting Team Flash do their thing (since Mercury Labs is a rubble pile now).

Also, loved the ‘90s Flash throwback with Amanda Pays and JWS being flirty

Request to the writers: Can you please stop having the characters call Zoom "Jay"? His name is Hunter Zolomon. Jay Garrick is a "Flash", and a HERO!

I kind of love the Caitlin/Cisco team up. And who knew the two of them had Earth 2 cosplay costumes on hand.

* Based on the preview for next week, Barry and Zoom are going to race? I have a feeling their combined energies might lead to another breach opening up (again), and Barry disappearing along with Zoom.

I'm pretty much expected it but still sad over poor Henry just when he and Mercury labs chick were meshing so well. Flarrowverse sure does love killing Parental figures to drive home a stroyline.

I wonder what Wally is thinking now that he knows about Barry.

Also I might be annoyed if the use Henry's death to delay Barry/Iris again further. Obviously the next episode isn't the time for worrying about relationship but if we go into 3 and have to sit through them dating other's again I'll be

What exactly was her reasoning for how she knew? His timing? Or knowing things? Didn't really seem that totally thought out.

Perhaps she is? That could very well be why she knew who Barry was - and she already knows everyone else there pretty much. so that very likely could be what happens in S3.

Very true. I knew he was fine in terms of him not dying, etc... but I was still concerned for his character. But he has fast become a favorite of mine.

Have to admit. Wasn't a huge fan of Teddy Sears but the line of being a good little boy and him being busy winning made me go "yessss". I thought the delivery and expression were perfect.

Agree. I got why Caitlin did it in 2x18, etc... but still? Everyone still calls him Jay? I almost wanted them to take a line from Teen Wolf when Zoom pulled the mask on in 2x20 and instead of saying "my name is Zoom" saying

"that's not. my name." when Caitlin called him Jay again.

That she does. a little irritated - for now - that her SL at the moment hasn't really set up anything other than her being traumatized but maybe that will change next week. She's been traumatized and cold etc... before. while this was certainly more... its not much of an advancement. If it leads to KF or something... OK. If it just leads to her having trouble sleeping? Girl already should have been there.

and I mean, I get it, everyone helped and Zoom's army was defeated but celebrating while the big bad is still running around free - might not be the greatest idea.

and on that a little bit - since when did Zoom know he could open the breaches? because he was literally sitting on his a** waiting for Cisco to open the breach back in 2x18. not to mention them closing the breaches should have meant nothing to him if he can just open one any time he wants know...

No. but it does play a little into Hunter Zolomon's comic story. He attacked Linda in order to make Wally suffer the same kind of tragedy that he had in order to make him a better hero.

so him killing Henry might be a parallel to him attacking Linda in the comics. However, since Zoom/Hunter himself already acknowledged that he and Barry were the same and had the same tragedy in their past...

that's kind of a moot point although perhaps that is what they are going for?


Oh, lord. I hope that doesn't happen. I know it was teased in the newspaper article - though not as much time has passed - but come on. Barry and Iris need to end the season together IMO.

someone has to freaking damn happy. ifts been a dark season largely and I don't know if you can totally end on another cliff hanger where everything is different or where no one is happy.

happiness is never going to last on television. we all know that. sadly, not even in life. but while I agree that is quite possible, I really hope that doesn't happen. Barry as just presumed dead and in the speed force, to then have him disappear again a couple episodes later? meh... and its kind of also too much like Season one ala with Ronnie disappearing / dying, etc.

someone needs a happy ending to this season. hopefully there can be some kind of big twist or reveal but you still get a glimpse of some happiness. this season really needs it

loved Iris' line to Barry about fear and both he and Wally needing to have a little bit of it. so much goodness in that. parallel to Joe telling Barry that fear keeps them alive in Season one. for shadowing the present and future with barry as a hero and Wally well on his way to one. combined a parallel with the present and the future in a fairly short line.

and for the love of the tv pixy fairies... can someone nuke Star Labs though? seriously... i get it. its better than sliced bread and gravity and the bee's knees. but how bout some time at different set pieces in Season 3? CCPN? Cisco's apartment/house? Something? anything? I know it apparently has become the "Lair" of the show compared to Arrow and the ship compared to LoT.... but come on.... it made sense for tonight to be there but enough. i loved the star labs stuff in Season 1, liked it this season by and large but plus, don't have it be front and center in season 3

Agreed! When Barry and the team aren't in Flash-mode, they should be taking a walk outside, smelling the roses, seeing a movie, hanging out at Jitters, and just doing their own things separate from each other/STAR Labs (I mean, it's been two seasons and we still haven't met Caitlin's family. Does she never have a family dinner with them?).

Harry could make 'metahuman alert' watches for everyone, THEN they can meet up at STAR Labs as required. There's no need for them to just BE there all the time.

exactly. I mean Season 3 undoubtedly will have more Star Labs stuff... some of which will be very good, some of which will....


other S3 things that are far more interesting than everyone chilling at star Labs


- Iris and Barry dating? since unless they pull a season one, that seems to be the logical ending place this season heading into next

- Caitlin's mom? there have been rumors now of a conversation but I also say AK say that it "probably" happens in Season 3... how bout we just make it happen in Season 3 and leave out the probably, Ok?

- Jessie / Wally's powers arrive. maybe? hopefully? probably? and while I'm on that subject, yes, its not comic canon. but I love their interaction right now so more awkward / cute / nervous and neat Wally and Jessie interactions would be nice.

- how bout you know, Iris as a reporter? you know. maybe even an investigative one?

- does Caitlin's PTSD actually lead anywhere - not that a character's arc through PTSD isn't interest since its a horrible thing people from suffer from and if done right could be very, very interesting -

- do we see more of Cisco's powers? I presume the answer is yes.

- can we get some more of Cisco's background too? maybe him in college or something IDK... I know we got the one with him and Hartley and Wells in Season one but another one would be nice. and while I know they've brought his brother in a few times... more back story there would be good. especially since his powers are a little more advanced since anyone else's save for Barry's.

- Joe and Wells maybe as buddies... now that Henry is sadly...


I'm sure there are other things but for the most part I tried to think of stuff that have little to nothing to do with science and the lab. and not much at the police station either i know knocking out the two primary set pieces of the first two seasons it highly unlikely but with an expanded universe, hopefully expanding character development for all - it'd be nice to see some expanding set pieces. I know budgets and all that but with the show being the golden ticket right now - a few changes to the sets would be nice.

The minute they started talking about Henry staying in Central City "for good", I knew he'd be dead by the end of the season.

I'm also pretty sure Caitlin is brainwashed, or under Zoom's control or something. She'll probably end up turning evil/into Killer Frost. I mean... Zoom didn't just let her go because he was feeling generous.
