Not a bad start slow and steady .Why didn’t Barry take the Despro into the future room . Whatever the room that’s hidden originally only Barry could access,that shows the headline for the future. Reading a few interviews with the show runner ,she went into the making of this 5 parter.That with all the Covid safety protocols they couldn’t have 10 superheroes in one room with a large crew …
Ray Palmer visit …Brandon always seems to add a bit of his Clark Kent to his Palmer persona.
All in all good to see the whole gang back

Long time no post! Thought I'd add my 2 Cents to this week's episode of the Flash, as I'm really enjoying this Armageddon event.

• Joe died 6 MONTHS AGO? Now I KNOW (or at least hope?) this show wouldn't kill Joe off-screen, so I'm having as hard a time believing it as Barry is.

• Speaking of 6 months ago - in those SAME 6 months (in which Iris would have been mourning the loss of her father), the Central City Citizen suddenly went from one small office with 2 employees to a full building with a huge increase in staff? Sue buying the building still doesn't account for CCC having such a surge in popularity/funds that it could support this increase.
Also, Iris's journey towards making CCC a multi-media empire (a la CatCo) seems like something we, the viewers, should have seen on-screen since she's the female lead and all.

• Also - in those same 6 months - Barry "levelled up" (last week's phrase of the day) so exponentially? As much as I love that since it's about time, I got the impression that it just happened in that short time span.
Having said that, I still hope he keeps his newfound confidence and upgrades - assuming he gets over this whole "losing his mind" thing.

• It seems that a lot of unexplained stuff happened in that 6 months time gap, and I'm starting to think we have some time travel; psychic; or alternate world shenanigans afoot, especially with Barry having no memory of Joe's death (or the weird things he's been doing).
In the comics, Despero can use mind control and create illusions. This seems to fit the bill.

• A few little side notes:

1. I thought we were getting Alex as Sentinal (as per the promo picture), not Alex on a video screen for 2 minutes (though I'm guessing Chyler was probably filming Supergirl at the same time). Perhaps she fully shows up in episode 5?

2. It was good to see Jefferson again. Maybe one day we'll get to see Kara or Clark pop in.

3. I'm glad someone remembered the S.T.A.R. Labs "Hall of Justice" existed (which always seems to have water stains on the floor? Someone should clean that up. Lay some tile. Give the place a fresh coat of paint. Barry could probably do all that in about 2 minutes).

4. I wonder if Gleek is still roaming around somewhere.
