Finally, it's back! Thanks for the new thread!

Flash Thoughts:

- Oh look, Ralph is being annoying again.

- Well, hello Jay and Silent Bob! Long time no see!

- Barry is 1000000% done with Ralph right now. Join the club, Barry…

- It would have been funny if they had Tom Ellis playing “Crucifer” ;)

- Someone needs to save Marlize. Please?

- Ralph: I have Daddy issues
Me: Um…. Barry’s mother was murdered and his dad was thrown in jail for his entire childhood. You don’t have an excuse, dude.

- Cisco just got a nice job offer. I doubt he’s going to take it, though. This show seems intent on keeping him in the lab.

- Oh dear… looks like Harry is getting his Eobard on --- and perhaps that's why Not!Dawn gave him such a dirty look last time we saw her.

Marlize's scenes were the only interesting part of the episode.

So, we had to wait FOUR weeks for this flop of an episode?:rolleyes::sigh:

I can't believe that they (TPTB) let the writers get away w/this crud. WHY is Ralph always front & center? WHY are they trying to get ppl to like this very UNlikeable character? WHEN will this character DIE?:mad:

The show is lacking heavily in both its heart & its soul. Isn't it weird that everytime a Ralph-centric episode appears, those two things "magically" disappear?:rolleyes::sigh:

When you write WA OOC to prop up a useless character:rolleyes::sigh:; when the only time Joe is in a ep that's Ralph-centric, he's always "Ralph in disguise":rolleyes::sigh:; when Cisco (& even Caitlin who I really don't like) are sidelined in favor of a d-bag:rolleyes::sigh:, I start to wonder why this is all being allowed. I had heard that some of the new writers are from Nickelodeon, & they need to go back there, ASAP (Certo & Kim, in particular need to go, yesterday :mad:).I know the show is "family-friendly" (which I think is hurting the show; you can be mature w/out going otp. Trying to appeal to the "kiddies" isn't working. There are NO kids that star in this show), but resorting to toilet humor brings the show down to an all time low. And why is a grown man (at least physically) childish in his "joking"? If this is to appeal to the "kiddies", what message are they sending?

Breacher & Cisco were the only highlight for me. Marlize finding out the truth about DeVoe, even though it was erased at the end, would've been interesting, but...at this point, just be done w/them, already.

And I don't give a rat's butt about Ralph's past. I don't empathize w/him whatsoever. It's too little, too late. He was unlikeable from jump, so if he does die :fingers_crossed: I won't blink an eye. He. Needs. To. Go. The Flash has turned into The Elongated Man. The show has suffered enough. Put him & us out of our misery.

Ralph's sob story doesn't work. It explains his bad attempts at humor but not the sexist behavior. His dad walked out on his mom, he was close to her but grew up to be a misogynist. Makes sense :rolleyes:

I forwarded Ralph's "when I was 10 year old..." sob story. Boohoo loads of people don't have Dads. Doesn't equal a**hole. :rolleyes:

The ratings are making me sad, we need a shake up, come on.

So Marlize's drug has worn off and she's figured out that she is truly scared of DeVoe now and has left clues for herself. But DeVoe keeps catching her and erasing her memories cuz he still needs her to survive. i wonder if whats left of his love for her will result in his demise (kind of like Doc Oc sacrificing himself to destroy the monster he had become) or perhaps she will figure out (again) and somehow get to Barry and the gang so they can defeat him?

Oh No!!! Did the increased intellectual powers seduce Harry to the dark side? Is he actually not Harry but Eobard Thawne in disguise as Harry AGAIN!!!!???? Way to play with their minds," Whoever-you-are-Harry"!!!!! But I'm hoping it just looks like Harry is up to something bad but he's really not!!! Can't wait to see what happens next!

It's a shame. The hiatus and lack of promo were a factor but their villian (body switching) took away from the arc, the week-to-week "bus meta" that aren't compelling and to add insult to injury...Ralph. Who learns the same lesson. Every episode.

They have to step up their writing and imaginations to gain any traction back.
