Man I didn't want the episode to end.
It's been a long time since I've enjoyed a season 1 of a show so much. Cisco going in his dreams to see what Wells did was great. Him talking bout his shirt Iris figuring things out on her own. Damn straight. She will be a kick-ass reporter in the future. Wells being 1 step ahead of them! He has been spying on them for so long! Now he will be even more dangerous. They have to deal with other bad guys and him as well. Wells telling Eddie they are related in a way! Everything was just great I can't wait for the last 3 episodes. __________________

Fantastic episode. Best since...maybe ever.
It's ALL out there now. Great job by Candice, Grant and Carlos (though most everyone was good) but TOM CAVANAGH. |

Yeah, this show just keeps upping the ante.
Tom plays evil so well and he will continue to terrorize them, until he can get back into his own time. I do wonder what Wells will do with Eddie. Next episode looks epic as well. __________________

* Cisco, get cracking on making Barry's awesome future!suit please
* Iris West-Allen wrote the future article about her husband disappearing. It's a bit bittersweet. * Wait… Barry created Gideon? When did he become a tech expert? * "No, you don't have my blessing" (to Eddie) / "She has feelings for you" (to Barry). Oh Joe, you WestAllen shipper you. Eddie, why are you asking Barry to talk to Joe about marrying Iris when you know how he feels about her? That's cold, man. * Was there a reason Eobard called Barry Joe's "son" this episode? He never did that before. This makes me worried for Joe's future * Anyone notice when Barry was staring at Cisco making the "Vibe" goggles, he was wearing comic!Cold's glasses? Visual aids: * Captain Singh and Rob are really cute. That is all. * So Iris admits that she only went out with Eddie because Barry wasn't around. * Eddie, meet your future great great great… etc grandson. You might want to rethink being fruitful and multiplying. * Iris knows! Iris knows! Iris knows! ABOUT FREAKIN' TIME! *ahem* Soooo… there's definite sparks between Barry and Iris… <insert your own "their chemistry is electric" pun here> Loved this episode! Can't wait to see what happens next. __________________

This episode is up there with Out Of Time .
Finally, FINALLY, many truths are out there and I can't wait to see the fallout. IRIS KNOWS! Iris West-Allen . They were flawless, these two. Sparks LITERALLY fly. Tom Cavanagh slayed. I was legit scared. Poor Eddie, he can't catch a break. But I'm with Joe on that one. At least we know that RF won't kill him (maybe? I'm not quite sure about the show's time travel rules yet) because that could cause a paradox. Harrisbard is a damn pervert, all those cameras . Joe's laugh when Cisco was dreaming was ridiculous . Okay I need a rewatch to discuss properly. __________________

OMFG what a badass episode!
First things first: Fk, why didn't I pick up on this sooner- that Morena Baccarin plays the voice of Gideon? It just hit me in this episode when I really listened to the voice and I was like holy fk, why didn't I know before?! I've loved Morena since her days on Firefly Wells/Eobard Thawne- gah I am literally dead and dying right now. I mean seriously, he was a step ahead of them this whole time?! Of course that would make sense that he would keep tabs on them. OMG and him revealing himself to Eddie- total shocker there. I wasn't sure he would. Iris- Gah I'm dead here too, she figured it out all on her own. I am so happy that she now knows! It doesn't matter what timeline or what reversal she will always find out the truth about Barry! And dude the Vibe and Captain Cold glasses- sweet touch! I swear no season 1 of any show (except maybe Arrow) has been this awesome before. I can't wait for the Grodd episode and then season 2!!! __________________

I loved this episode. This is a show that gets better each episode.
I felt a bit bad for Eddie when Joe didn't give him his blessing. His last few episodes has been interesting to say the least. He wants to move forward with Iris but than Barry tells him, his secret which he had to keep from Iris and then Joe doesn't want any wedding plans with him. He's just... yeah, going through a tough time. Now Wells is contacting him. Barry and Iris, my favorite episode of their relationship for quite sometimes because I was sort of getting over their relationship because I didn't like they way it was written, this episode showed why I can ship them. I love that we got a flashback scene of when Barry was in the coma... we definitely needed it for that amazing ending! I prefer the way Iris found out Barry's secret in this timeline compared to the alternative timeline actually. Joe being an Iris/Barry shipper, I love!! although we all knew he's been one since like forever. lol He was just more obvious with it today. Eobard Thawne... I can't even pretend to be surprised. lol Cisco, I always love him! |

Loved this episode so much more than the other ones. I think it's because RF can finally be himself and stop being so cryptic. Though I enjoy Tom being sneaky. His acting is off the hook in recent episodes. He plays truly evil/likable/nondescript so well.
Cisco, great performance with Carlos. The lucid dreaming was a great plot for this episode. But of course RF was a step ahead of everyone with recording everything all along. |
