Katie Holmes - Leigh Ann Watson/Teaching Mrs. Tingle

I've noticed that we didn't have threads about Katie and her earlier work in movies. Teaching Mrs. Tingle was one of Katie's first leading roles in movies, which seems so long ago.

It's not my favorite movie and it's not Katie's best, but it was enjoyable. I liked the chemistry between Katie and Barry.

Plot:
All her life Leigh Ann Watson (Katie Holmes) has done the right thing. Her only ticket out of town is the one scholarship that goes to her school's top student. All she needs is an A in history. There's just one problem: Mrs. Tingle, the history teacher who for 20 years has terrorized the students of Grandsboro High.

What did everyone think of it?

I think we all have had a teacher similar to mrs tingle.

I have this movie, too

I remember on Dawson's, they had a teacher called Mrs. Tringle

and another movie had a teacher along the lines with that name. I noticed that the principal's name in this movie is called Mr. Potter

I really the interaction Katie had with her co-stars, especially Marisa and Barry

I'm thankful that I haven't gotten a teacher as bad as Mrs. Tingle.

I don't even remember that the principal's name is Mr. Potter or the Mrs. Tingle in DC. That's what happens when you work with Kevin W.

Marisa was so fun and flirty. Helen was very convincing too. What's your favorite scene?

I didn't find the movie horrible, but the plot itself was hard to grasp and too farfetched. At least Katie and Barry had good chemistry and acting going on.

Oh I agree without Katie and Barry being in the movie I would have walked out.
