I think that Sason promo was around the time the show legit had Jason shirtless while images of Sonny and Courtney floated over his head like "Torn between two lovers", and I'm not sure I've ever laughed so hard at a soap except for that magical moment where Lucky prayed to Jesus and Jason promptly popped up behind him.

the soaps fandom now is still pretty bizarre tbh, but I haven't heard of any exploding packages being sent so there's that? __________________

Way weirder ish tended to happen on individual actor/character/couples boards than on general GH boards (after hearing some of the stuff the Liaison fans used to do I lurked at one of their boards out of curiosity and
 ). The general boards just tended to be a lot of ripping Guza and the show to shreds... but do you know how long it took me to not automatically type Whortney instead of Courtney?! __________________

the fact that some insisted that steve was the babydaddy when becky got pregnant was one of the most bizarre theories i've ever heard. that in itself deserved an award.
i've seen some unhinged niz fans recently too actually. not like, mentally unstable, but delusional for sure since they insist Niz have been in love for 17 years. huh? i clearly missed the parts they watched. __________________

It always creeps me out when fans start trying to put the actors together when they ship the characters together... especially when they get super insistent about it... enjoying seeing the actors interact and get along is one thing... crossing over into shipping is super icky
Niz and Liason and their fandoms have too many similarities for my taste. __________________

RL shipping is beyond uncomfortable tbh, but it's always at a heightened level with soap actors for some reason. __________________
