Yeah, for the same reasons I struggle with recasts on soaps (although Carly #3 was seriously so ****ing amazing and like, RIGHT out there with the crazytown and Maurice Benard looked terrified of her and I miss her all the time) I rarely have an actor where two of his or her pairings make my hardcore OTP list. JJ and David Boreanaz might be the only two, lol. I hoped JJ would WORK with Hayden, and then I hoped they'd have sexytimes after the pilot, but I did not envision this and I was not prepared for it. RUDE.

I shipped Hayden's character really hard on Heroes too though. So both of these two are unreasonable to me :lol:

I watched Heroes much later and so I knew the two that everyone shipped on Heroes were related and it took a lot of the fun out of it for me, lol. Claire was awesome, though.

Sadly that didn't stop me from shipping them :lol: I hated all the lowly actors they paired her with on that show though. It's clear Hayden was always talented beyond her years. Her and Jack Coleman together was my favorite dynamic.

Maybe it's because I grew up in an area of VA where two towns away families WERE known for inter-marrying, lol, but that's just putting a whole wet blanket over the thing for me. It's a strange show- it was REALLY good in S1, and it went downhill super fast, lol. Maybe it's better that Nashville stays on a semi-even, if very imperfect, keel.

Hereos was really really good in S1. S2 was pitiful, and then I can't remember anything after. It got to the point where I literally had no idea what was going on and gave up.


tbh, I don't think Nashville will ever get to that point for me. I love the actors on this show way too much
