I think in the second part of the season we'll get a lot of focus on these two. Feels they are going on their individual journeys' right now.

I would be fine with that if it lead to good storytelling. But it doesn't. How they wrote Scarlett this episode was horrible. At least Gunnar gets some good material, but if a casual viewer tuned into the show he or she would have no idea why it wastes screentime with a girl sitting all by herself in a room making songs while having zero interaction with any meaningful characters. The viewer wouldn't even be able to understand who she is.

While I agree that Scarlett did not have much a storyline this week (and I was disappointed), it was only one week. I feel like her storyline is very slowly paced right now compared to everyone else but I don't think it means it won't be good once it gets going.

Either way I agree that the first half of the season is their individual journey and the second half will move towards their storyline together.

I didn't mind Scarlett's slow SL, I feel like her Arc this season will be a work in progress kind of thing.
