Exited after waiting for years to have more D/R making music together :D

It's probably the best it has looked for the entire series.

I think a bob would suit her so well

I didin't watch this. No Avery, no watching. But I did look at a review, and this quote caught my eye, :)

Good LORD. (And speaking of: no Juliette, along with no Avery and no Will, make this episode nearly unbearable.)

They gotta fix the balance of this show and quick. If they're trying to have continuity then you need people to watch the episodes consecutive instead of skipping episodes and people are going to skip episodes if their favourite characters aren't in them

When word got out there was no Juliette or Avery in this episode, it was an easy skip for me. Not interested in any of the others to watch. The unbalance on this show is unbelievable. Never seen a show treat one of the leads like this in my life.

Yeah 3 main cast included one lead out of 7 adult main cast out of an episode is just poor planning.

And I think for the casual viewer who watches more for the whole show, it screws up the momentum of the storylines. Will they even remember what was last going on with Juliette and Will when their storylines pick up again two weeks later? More importantly, will they still care? It just seems harder to get invested in storylines that are deemed unimportant enough to ignore for an entire episode. I just don't get this format at all. I think cutting the cast down should have been enough to give more room for scenes to breathe, without having to sacrifice entire characters some weeks.

I don't know if it's Connie's availability or what, but I'm a huge D/R fan and this was too much even for me. I loved their scenes but don't understand why so much was crammed into one episode.

And while I'm not one to defend Maddie, both she and Daphne were baking the cake. Daphne is plenty old enough to take the cake out on time. Why no consequences for her? Maddie was still a brat for inviting Clay over as soon as her folks left, leaving Daphne alone.

Jp10ah 02-09-2017 09:12 PM

Hardly anything even happened in this episode! It didn't really need the long breathy scenes. Maddie and Clay was absolutely useless in this episode. Lots of dialogue is good but a Javery scene or two wouldn't have hurt at all.

And what's with the lack of music elements? Like SG out to lunch twice, sitting at the house just talking. Couldn't they be singing? Couldn't they be editing a song or strumming a guitar anything that reminds us they are musicians? They have 1 song this season and it's not even good and we're 7 episodes in! We could get 30 seconds of an almost song no?
