I felt horrible last night! I took Tylenol because my arm was hurting pretty bad. I had to sleep on my back a that was the only comfortable position, so my throat drained all night, so I woke up coughing all night. So glad, I don't have to work today.

So far today, I'm feeling really good, just a little tired.

Weekend plans for me are to take it easy today, work tomorrow and then come home and watch the new episode of 1883 on Paramount+.

Aw glad you’re feeling better now Candace  It seems that some peoples first vaccine is the worst, some the second and some the booster. It was the second one that I suffered with but the others were fine (sore arms aside). Fingers crossed the first one was the worst for you :)

I'm really hoping the worst is behind me. I'm still feeling great today!

I'm prepared for the possibility of feeling yucky this evening, just in case.

Aww Candace  glad you’re feeling better. I just had the sore arm for a couple of days. Hopefully the worst is over for you and shot number two results in no side effects :fingers_crossed:

TFTNT

Candace, I'm glad you're feeling better now

My arm really didn't hurt, it was just tender if I rolled on it or touched it. So, Friday was the worst for me and was actually the only day I experienced anything. A little worried about shot 2 as I hear that one is worse in the side effects department.

^It may be. I think it varies person to person. I think I had less pain for that one and no effects. My Aunt had effects from shot one and that was it but my mom had nothing for any of them. It's interesting how the human bodies react so differently

Have a good week, everyone

Have a good week :)

Anyone have any plans? Due to the bussing issue the cold temps have lead to the kids first snow day of the year :)

dorkalot 01-11-2022 10:31 AM

I need to schedule a blood work appointment since I couldn't do it at my appointment due to fighting a sinus infection days before the appointment which does cause issues with my blood counts. I'm procrastinating on doing it. I figure if I get it done by the end of January that's okay. I don't have to go see my doctor for 6 months, so I got time. ;)

Sandy0401 01-11-2022 10:37 AM

I can’t say I blame you for putting it off. I do the same . Aysen had to go last week for some and it killed me more than him but I hate needles

It's not bad anymore, now that I have a certain no-fail spot they 99% of the time always get it from me. I just hate having to make a separate trip over there. It's like a 40-45 minute drive depending on traffic. :pout:

I’ve got no plans other than work.. January usually feels like the longest, most boring month ever

Copop 01-11-2022 03:02 PM

No plans here, either.

Fiona, it really seems like it

It's one long Monday :P It drags big time too, maybe it's from coming off of the holiday rush and February makes you want spring but there's just something so Monday-ish about it.

January is the best month of the year! It's my birthday month! :D
