I'm laying low as it's suppose to rain a lot this week due to now Tropical Depression Beta blowing through. Luckily, it's just bringing lots of rain and nothing else.

And we are the only district staying with virtual. They’ll reevaluate November 1st. I am fuming. I won’t lie, I’ll probably be pulling Amaya from school, it’s too much on her mental health and she’s crying nightly that it’s “too hard” she “just don’t get it” and “it makes me feel so sad”. I’m just at a loss

Oh no, I’m sorry Sandy and poor Amaya too Are you allowed to pull children out of school over there, like legally? I just ask because I think it’s illegal here. I had a date today but other than that, no plans for me this week. __________________

Legally I can. In New York kindergarten isn't actually a requirement and the legal age to start school is 6 and she's still 5. So yes, legally I could do it. I am so torn so many are telling me it's the lazy way out but it's messing up her head so much

Thanks It’s the guy who I’ve been messaging for like a year and a half but I’ve been reluctant because he’s like 6 years younger than me but he’s been persistent so I thought I’d just say yes __________________
