Sandy, I read about your ghostly encounter on Twitter - seriously, this is creepy. I sure wouldn't believe it, but you say it so often and stuff... maybe she was particularly upset that day :shrug:

It could be that. I’ve heard crying and laughing from her. I find it creepy like scary yet creepy because it’s all unknown. I had two ladies come in one night and a door slammed and one asked why it’s slamming when there’s nobody in there so I told them and than the ice machine went off so they ran out. I haven’t seen them back since (they may come during the day though :look:)

I won't speak for Sandy, but I will say you learn to deal with them. The previous daycare I worked at had a resident spirit name, Elizabeth. Anytime something weird/strange occurred you chalked it up to Elizabeth.

One instance that comes to mind was one evening I was cleaning my classroom up for the night. I went to put this baby doll on the shelf and it fell to the floor. I repeated this process two more times. When doing it a fourth time, I picked the doll up and placed it on the floor saying, "Leave the doll on the shelf, Elizabeth." The doll never fell again.

So, you just learn to accept them, I guess.

It's still spooky don't get me wrong but I tune it out more and more lol. I usually turn on Pandora and listen to music, I keep it on a mix so the older customers don't get mad or anything. After my phone ended up on the floor my night regular Sharon did say "That's enough for the night" and I said "You can throw whatever you want as long as it's not thrown at me and you don't throw the phone" I heard nothing the rest of that night :lol:

That's so creepy, Sandy. I don't know how you deal with it.

The BatB board is closing (voluntarily) on Sunday and it makes me so sad :( I know it's for the best but I've been a mod there for the past five years and it'll be strange not to post there anymore.

Aww so sorry, Ingrid :hug: i didn’t realize it was even closing, I know how heartbreaking it has to be since you’ve been there for so long and are all probably like a family.

Kathrin there wasn’t any music playing at the time. I usually play it when there’s no customers so no idea why she did it. She’s knocked over our cleaning supplies too, I’m assuming it’s just her being a typical child and mischievous.

Yay! And even sooner for me because I’m off on Friday, Saturday and Sunday this week :woot: (even though I have to pop into work to hand in some files on Friday)
