Hi everyone :wave:,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customizing message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or color suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colors will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us :).

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colors will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customization process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Rae or Mel a PM or ask the Team on the message board customization thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customized.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colors get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Set 4

As for colours, I'd love to see something like Nina Dobrev, Emma Watson or Delta Goodrem. What does everyone else think?

Love your suggestions Ingrid. I love set 2 and 4 for the photo's, I always love light blue or pink/red for colors, like the Nina Dobrev board.

I love all the set you suggested, Ingrid. I love no. 3 but they'd all work well.

Colours, I like lighter colours. Nothing too dark. :lol:

As for the photos, my vote goes to set 2 & 3.

I love the colors of Nina dobrev board or Bethany Joy board..those picture suggestions are great. I'm not sure which one I like more..wish it could be a blend of one from each of them in the banner :lol: which ever one gets picked I'll be happy :D

I love the colours on the Castle and Bethany Joy boards too, pink/purple would be great :sigh:

I prefer set 3 of Ingrids photoshoots :D

As for color schemes, I love the Bethany Joy board, actually. But with Delta Goodrem 'read' markings, if you know what I mean?

I like anything purple/blue, too :D

Also you can come up with your own colour scheme ideas, they do not need to be similar to existing boards. What colours do you feel would suit Stana the most? What colours would you find the easiest/best to look at for long periods of time? That sort of thing :). As for the comment about light colours not dark we try to avoid dark colours wherever possible as we know they are not so good for the eyes (especially when you go from a dark board to a light board). Then whatever colours we do use we try to make them easy on the eyes as well so you do not need to worry about those sorts of things :). Again there is nothing wrong with the colours you have suggested, I just do not want people to feel like they have to suggest colours based on existing colour schemes.

Of course, feel free to suggest other pictures than the ones I posted :nod: I just thought those were the most popular ones though.

For me it's easier to look at current boards because then I know what it will look like. I like the colour scheme you posted, Aurora. Something light and feminine if that's the right word for it :lol: What does everyone else think?

They probably are, they could also be the best, I have no idea. I do love that you are all agreeing so I probably should just shut up :lol:.

That is similar to why I start looking at pictures. It gives me a visual of what colours you like, ~~and it does not feel like I am stealing or trying to match another boards colour scheme~~ :P. But having a visual is good, however you want to get it :nod:.

That is true. I'll have a look at the source you posted and see what else is out there, hopefully everyone else will do the same :)
