No, I had to work  it was the other overnighters day after wedding so she took the night off (she put in a two week anyways). It was quiet and relaxing. I took Amaya for autumn photos, bought a couple of things for the house and had a nice dinner and an ice cream sandwich cake. I feel now that I'm older a birthday isn't as much as it used to be (a happy birthday is nice but not everything we wanted from like 21 and younger).__________________

I totally get that! I've never been a make a big deal kind of person. I never told anyone t work it was my birthday, because I hated how everyone would make a big deal.

^I told people at my work only because one of our customers is going onto the evening shift so we won't see him in the morning and he asked where his cake was so of course I asked where mine was. The years get shorter and shorter so to me now it's nothing, I like getting a happy birthday from someone and of course my moms cooking but other than that I'm okay.

^I usually go to New York City for the day (or plan my vacation) but with surgery being the first week of December I knew it wouldn't have been a smart move
 though in the end I managed an hour of OT to help out so no complaints from me.__________________
