I was having dinner with my friends last night (they’re a couple) and we were talking tv and they were like “oh, have you watched Absentia on Amazon? We’re two episodes in and it’s great”. I never even recommended it to them beforehand. It made me happy

According to them, it surprised them how it was so intense straightaway but in a good way. And they debated with each other that Flynn was kind of mean but then the other was like “yes but Emily is a stranger to him, of course he’d be like that”. I can’t wait to see their reaction to the rest of it

You can bet I'll be pestering my sister for her opinion soon. She is busy right now, so I'll hold off for a bit. I did text her on Thursday, that it was available and added to her watchlist, though.

That is awesome. It's always fun to see friends get into a show you like without even bringing it up to them. Hopefully they continue to like it and I look forward to you sharing their opinions of it
