I thought this was a filler ep. I wasn't really interested about the Kiplings and Cooper's connection to them. I was more interested with Red getting close to finding out more about Jolene and of course that ending with Jolene & Tom and her finally saying to him that Liz was his target. __________________

Yeah, it really only has... I was kind of shocked by that, too. I hadn't even bumped it when I re-did all the OPs because there were no posters for this one anymore. Glad it's bumped now, lets give that episode some love.
But somehow that was one of the episodes that I liked the least of season 1... Nothing storyline related happened, did there? Okay, one thing did, we got introduced to Tom Connolly but that was it really... __________________

Yes that was the only major thing from this episode that Tom Connelly was introduced and that he and Cooper did something back when they were in the Marines or the military?
The rest of the episode was pretty boring to me. Besides the fact that Jolene revealed who she really was! __________________

I have no clue where exactly they have been before... Wasn't it when they were in their nowadays profession already?
Was it in that episode that we found out who Jolene really is? Then it's the episode with the restroom encounter between Jolene and Tom, right? __________________

Oh wow!! I had completely forgotten that Tom Connelly was introduced in season one. I thought we didn't see him until season two.

Yeah, we really did see him before and I definitely have to re-watch the episode to get to know more about him and his past with Cooper. I recalled that we had seen him before when he first re-appeared in season 2 but I couldn't recall too much anymore. It's great how they built a storyarc over two seasons

Yes this was the episode where Tom and Jolene made out in the bathroom of the hotel the were staying at during their teacher conference. When Jolene gave Tom a key card to her room and he went there she revealed her true colors.

Yeah, that part I somehow recall really well because I thought that was the most important about the episode... And it was for season 1. But in the bigger picture the Connolly part was even more important for season 2. Funny, right? How easy I misjudged what's important and what is not.

Based on this episode I never imagined that Connolly would be so important in S2. I thought he was just an old co worker of Cooper and that he only was important to the story because of what they did to some guy way back in the day.

But now it really makes sense... Connolly definitely had potential, you could tell by the way he threatened Liz. That was bad and Cooper did nothing about it which was worse...

Liz told Cooper and him that she'd make it public that they had been involved in illegal things and Connolly told her that she should go ahead but could be sure that her career would be done if she decided to do that.

She did? I really don't recall that. Thanks for refreshing my memory Kris.
