I think because he told her already that he would be hunting her down and by what Jon Bokenkamp told us in that interview after the finale had aired. :( So I can't see Ressler and Red working together on helping Liz. What could they possibly do to help her? She shot Connolly in cold blood. She crossed a line and she can't go back.

I think he only told her he was going to hunt her down because he was supposed to. Because his new job asks that of him. I will always keep the faith that Ressler will help Liz. I don't know if what way but I am sure he will. :)

Now they both know each other on a personal level and that will change things for them. I really interested to see how it changes their dynamic when Ressler starts chasing him again.

Last time Diego was hunting Red! ;)

They do know eachother on a personal level yes but I don't know if that will make a lot of difference. I hope it will. Like you said it is going to be interesting to see their new dynamic.

:lmao: yes I guess it wasn't Diego

I am hoping that Ressler has grown enough as a character that it makes a difference and the writer's don't return him to his early season one boy scout ways. I wasn't a Ressler fan in the first half of season one. I didn't start to care for him until Anslo Garrick.

Miranda 05-27-2015 11:35 AM

I am glad you like Ressler now! :)

I think that Ressler has definitely grown as a character. He changed after Anslo Garrick and his relationship with Red changed after Anslo Garrick. I just hope that he will keep in mind that Red did save his back than.

Same here! You've a great point with that, Amy. And as much as Red was Ressler's enemy before, I'm sure Ressler not only sees Red as the criminal anymore. He got to see and experience the good sides of him and that he's not only a monster... It'll be changing their dynamic as well, I'm sure.

Miranda, I think then we'll have to wait until fall to find out who of us is right. :) Maybe both, to a degree. Would be awesome, wouldn't it? Like 'Together we were right.' :high_five:

Same here! I really didn't give a damn about Ressler until I saw this episode :thud: It blew me away and it being followed by the Audrey storyline was awesome.

One Thing Remains 05-27-2015 05:29 PM

yes the Audrey sl is probably the best sl Ressler has gotten so far in the series. It was so great to see him go through so many powerful emotions and see how it changed his perspective on both life and his job as an FBI agent.

I simply loved him with Audrey, I think they fit together so well. I'm such a hardcore shipper of these two and I think she had to die way too early. I still could cry when thinking about it. Although the fact that we never really got to know if she was pregnant already. :( Do you think anybody at the bureau knows that she could have been pregnant with their child?

ChellyChelle 05-28-2015 12:12 PM

Ooooooh! You guys have me intrigued about possible flashbacks of Ressler hunting Red.

I'm not sure what to expect between them for next season. I believe Ressler still doesn't fully rust Red. And he also doesn't know the full history between Red & Liz and that Red has been trying to protect her all this time.

I wish I liked Audrey as much as you Kris. She annoyed the snot out of me even before I was a Keenler shipper. I never wanted her to stick around long., even though I hated the way they killed her off. If they introduce a new love interest for Ressler next season, I hope she's badass. :D

Lauren Helen Graham 05-28-2015 12:51 PM

Right? :D Such flashbacks would be stunning and since it's not been too long ago (judging by the time line), they could even be portrayed by James and Diego  Not like with young Liz and so on being portrayed by younger actors...

Me neither. If you ask me it could really go all directions... Maybe it will be a good mixture of trust and mistrust? If that is even possible in this situation they are in.

Okay... So you didn't like her Chelly? Why not? I think that's the first time that we don't feel the same about a character on the show. I always feel we are so alike when it comes on our thoughts of the show.

I think if they performed an autopsy on her than they would have found out for sure because pregnancy is something they look for at the time of death. But I have no idea if they did an autopsy

No I don't think anyone knows. If Ressler would have told somebody I think it would have been Liz and he didn't. He is such a private person, I didn't expect him to tell anybody. I don't know if she was really pregnant. I think they wanted to make us think she was.

I liked Audrey and it was really sad she died and they way she died but somehow for me she and Ressler never clicked for me. I had a feeling Audrey was so different from Ressler. They SL that followed was amazing for Ressler and it did make the relationship between Red and Ressler somewhat better.

Do you think Red knows? :look: He seems to know everything all the time...

And do you think Ressler really is over it? Or do you think that something is boiling up with him and we'll get to face that breakdown at some point?

Hm, that's a good question... I think since she was shot there for sure was an autopsy  At least there would have been one in Germany. Not sure how it's handled in the USA.

One Thing Remains 05-29-2015 07:55 PM

I am with you Kris. I assume there was an autopsy for sure. If seems like everyone gets an autopsy here in America

But if they did perform an autopsy they never disclosed or discussed the results on screen. The only hint we have at pregnancy was the untaken test she had in her belongings that Ressler found.

Red seems to knows almost everything but in this case I really don't if he knows about Audrey.

I don't know if Ressler is over it. After the Mako Tanida episode we never heard him talk about it again. Except in the Ivan episode but the only thing he said there was that the job took his mind of Audrey. I don't think he ever talked to somebody about what happened to Audrey and I am sure he is boiling up his feelings.

Maybe that's something they will focus on again at some point this season... I really can see that happening. These writers aren't stupid and they know what kind of potential this knowledge still has.

I really don't know either about Audrey but hey, Red even knew about Cooper's disease. He could know about a pregnancy (if there is one)

I love that gif-set, thanks for bringing it over, Miranda :flowers:

Does this thread have quotes in the OP btw? :look: I need to have a look!

One Thing Remains 05-31-2015 10:04 AM

I think Red could definitely know about the pregnancy. He seems to be able to find out everything. It does make Ressler losing Audrey even worse though if he lost his baby as well :bawl:
