Donald Ressleris a veteran field agent who is a stickler for procedure.
Ressler's greatest asset is his single-minded, almost obsessive devotion to his work.
He spent five years on a FBI task force obsessively pursuing Reddington, which resulted in his fiancee breaking off their engagement.
He despises having to work with a criminal like Reddington, but he acknowledges that Reddington does get results.
Initially he distrusts Elizabeth Keen and her connection to Reddington, but eventually comes to respect and work well with her.

Diego Klattenhoff was born on November 30th, 1979 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
As a kid, he always wanted to be a professional baseball player.
But he chose to pursue an acting career after moving to Toronto at the age of 19.
He started attending theater workshops for a number of years while working as a bartender.
He enjoys golf, swimming, baseball, and hockey in his free time.

And I so love the title. It's my favorite quote from Ressler. I really liked him so much better in the first season. Can we please have that Ressler back? With some storyline, please?

I want the old Ressler back too. They are not doing him justice right now.

yeah I think it's really sad how little screen time and character development he got this season. Season 1 was so amazing for him and in season 2 I just kind of feel like he's a guest star

Season 3 definitely needs to be better for Ressler.

I read those news today as well! Jon Bokenkamp tweeted about it, so cool! But a horror thriller? Hm, not sure if that would be something I'd watch.
